Ordering & Shipping
Orders with standard shipping are typically processed and shipped within 1 to 3 business days of the order date. For expedited orders, our team needs one business day for fulfillment, and orders will ship on the next business day. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with tracking information once your order ships.
Delivery time depends on the shipping option selected at checkout. For detailed timelines, please visit our Shipping Policy page. If you need your order by a certain date and aren’t sure which option to choose, e-mail us at hello@patchumz.com—our Customer Experience team is happy to help.
Yes! We offer USPS Priority, UPS 2-Day, and UPS Overnight shipping options. Please note: expedited orders still require one business day for fulfillment, and delivery timelines are based on business days only (not weekends).
Orders over $50, shipped within the contiguous United States, automatically qualify for free standard shipping.
E-mail us as soon as possible at hello@patchumz.com if you'd like to cancel. If your order hasn’t shipped, we’ll cancel it for you. If it has already shipped, we can guide you through the return process.
Sometimes carriers mistakenly mark packages as delivered before they actually arrive or leave them in unusual places. Most show up within a day or two. We advise checking with neighbors to see if it was misdelivered. If it is still missing, please e-mail us at hello@patchumz.com so we can help.
Yes, we occasionally offer discounts on our gear. Join our e-mail list or follow us on social to be the first to hear about new deals! We also offer a standard discount of $10 off any order of $30 or more on letter and theme Patchumz, and 10% off for first-time e-mail subscribers and for customers who leave photo reviews. Please note that discounts cannot be stacked.
Please e-mail hello@patchumz.com right away, we’re happy to help! If there’s been a fulfillment error, please keep the item in its packaging. For defective items, please include a photo in your e-mail and we’ll let you know the next steps.
Yes, we ship to many countries outside the U.S. Add your address at checkout to see if shipping to your country is available. If your country doesn’t show up, please e-mail hello@patchumz.com and we’ll see if it can be added.
Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns on unworn, unwashed gear with tags attached and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Approved returns will be refunded in the form of store credit.
To begin a return, e-mail our Customer Experience team at hello@patchumz.com with your order number and reason for the return, and we’ll send you instructions for next steps.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the item arrived damaged or there was a fulfillment error.
Once we receive your item, our returns team will inspect it. If it’s in new condition (unworn, unwashed, with tags and original packaging), we’ll issue your store credit.
If the item appears used or not in returnable condition, we’ll email you with two options:
1. Send you an invoice for return shipping to have the item sent back to you.
2. Decline return shipping, and we’ll responsibly discard the item without issuing credit.
Unfortunately, we can’t accept returns on items that have been worn, washed, or are missing tags or original packaging.
Patchumz are final sale, and not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or defective.
We don’t offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or item, you may return your original purchase (with approval) and place a new order with your store credit.

Baseball Cap
Our baseball cap comes in two youth sizes (medium and large) and one adult size. Each cap features an adjustable back strap to ensure a comfortable, secure fit. Please check the size chart below to determine your best fit.

We recommend hand washing our baseball cap in cold water and allowing it to line dry. Please avoid bleach, ironing, or dry cleaning to maintain the cap's color, shape, and sun protection properties.
UPF 50+ Sun Hat
We offer a medium and large size for our youth sun hats, and S/M and L/XL for adult sizes. Please check the size chart below to determine your best fit.

We recommend hand washing our sun hat in cold water and allowing it to line dry. Please avoid bleach, ironing, or dry cleaning to preserve the fabric’s UPF protection and construction.
- Main body fabric: 100% nylon
- Patchumz panels: 55% nylon, 45% polyester
- Side mesh panels: 100% polyester
We never use coatings or chemical treatments. The UPF 50+ protection comes from the tight weave of the nylon fabric and the wide 3-inch brim.
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. Our hats are rated UPF 50+, which means they block over 98% of UVA and UVB rays.
Our youth hats include a breakaway chin strap that is designed to detach under tension for added safety. Great for kids who love active play!
Patchumz are sold separately unless otherwise noted.
Everyday Pouch
It’s perfect for small essentials—such as hand sanitizer, sunblock sticks, chapstick, snacks, cards, or keys.
Yes! The pouch can be machine washed on a gentle cycle. Be sure to remove any Patchumz before washing, and air dry to keep it looking its best.
The Everyday Pouch comes with a carabiner, so you can attach it to a backpack or tote for easy access.
Patchumz®
Patchumz® are reusable, non-iron-on patches that stick securely to panels on all of our gear—like our baseball caps, UPF 50+ sun hats, pouches, and more. They use a micro hook-and-loop backing (similar to Velcro®) for easy customization without sewing, adhesive, or ironing.
Just pick your favorite Patchumz, press them onto the patch-friendly panels on your gear, and swap them out whenever you want. They are designed to stay put during play, outings, and everyday adventures, and peel off easily when it’s time for a change. They can then be reused again at anytime!
Yes! All of our gear is designed with built-in panels that work with Patchumz, so you can mix, match, and personalize your items however you like. Please note that gear is sold separately.
Yes! We offer a $10 discount off all Patchumz—including themed sets and letter sets—when you spend $30 or more. The discount applies automatically at checkout.
Patchumz are made to be used again and again. In adhesion tests, they stayed sticky and secure even after over 1,000 uses. Please avoid layering Patchumz on top of each other, as that may cause the surface to fray over time.
They usually don’t need much cleaning, but if a patch gets dirty, gently hand wash it with soap and water, then let it air dry. Be sure to remove them from your gear before washing.
Patchumz are made of a soft, durable blend of 67% polyester and 33% nylon with a micro-hook-and-loop backing. They’re flexible, lightweight, and built to last through many swaps.
Because of their size, Patchumz are not intended for children under 3 and should be used under adult supervision.
All Patchumz are final sale. If you receive a defective patch or something isn’t right, reach out to our team at hello@happygear.com and we’ll help make it right.
Happiness Guarantee
Our Happiness Guarantee covers manufacturing defects that occur within two months of purchase, as well as fulfillment errors and shipping issues.
If your item arrives with a defect, please e-mail our Customer Experience team with a photo and description of the issue to submit a Happiness Guarantee claim. Our team will guide you through the next steps.
Claims typically take 4–5 business days to process. We’ll reach out by e-mail with the outcome. If your claim is approved, you’ll receive a Patchumz store credit in the amount of the original item (excluding taxes and shipping) to use toward a replacement of your choice.
Please note that approval is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the Patchumz quality assurance team. All claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Patchumz reserves the right to deny or limit claims.
While our products are designed to be durable and long-lasting, everyday use can lead to normal wear and tear over time. Our Happiness Guarantee does not cover issues related to wear and tear, aging of materials, or damage due to improper care or misuse. This includes, but is not limited to, pilling or fraying, damage from incorrect washing or handling, staining, accumulated odors, or mildew from humid conditions.
